Lucknow: Aspiring beauty professionals in Lucknow and surrounding areas will now have access to international-standard beauty education and professional training with the launch of the UK International London Beauty School’s new branch in the city.
The institute aims to equip students with practical exposure, professional skills and career-focused learning while connecting local talent with opportunities in the beauty and wellness industry.
UK International London Beauty School Chairman Prof. Abdul Khan said Lucknow has no shortage of talented and ambitious youngsters and that the institution’s objective is to provide them with quality training and the right career direction. He said the school, which began its expansion from Delhi-NCR, plans to establish branches in more cities across the country, including possible locations in Kanpur, Indore and Gujarat.
The Lucknow branch offers courses in makeup, beauty, nail care, fashion and related disciplines. According to the institute, around 1,000 students have already joined the Lucknow centre, prompting plans for another branch in the city within the next two to three months.
Vice Chairperson Dr Uzma Khan said the institute would focus on transforming students’ talent into professional skills and creating pathways to employment and self-employment. Most courses are designed to be completed within three to four months and have been kept affordable.
The institute said economically weaker students can receive scholarships through its NGO, while its ‘BD Jobs’ platform seeks to facilitate employment opportunities during and after training.
UKIBS Lucknow will offer live demonstration classes, modern infrastructure, hands-on practical training and industry-focused learning. Key programmes include the International Makeup Course, Professional Beauty Course, B.Voc Degree in Beauty & Wellness and Global Hairdressing Course.
The institute said its trainers hold international certifications and bring more than 15 years of industry experience. Students will also have access to international certification, internships, global exposure and practical experience on real platforms.
